Swabi (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Asad Qaiser has won NA-18 with 78970 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-18 Swabi-l constituency with 78970 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Murtaza Javed Abbasi was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 69839 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob who got 41391 votes.
At least 11 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-18. In 2013 elections, there were 336924 voters registered in NA-18, out of which 187224 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 55.57 %.
