Karachi, (Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2018 ) Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Federal urdu University of Art, Science and Technology (FUUAST) for conducting youth trainings and workshops in formation. Earlier, PRC Youth & Volunteer department conducted an awareness session and training workshop for Social works department of the university. The session was conducted to establish youth club at the Social works department.
PRC Sindh will organize trainings and workshops for newly elected members in future. There were a total of 33 participants including both male and female students. At the end of the session, the newly elected members took the oath. The formation of youth clubs is an integral part of mobilizing youth for humanitarian services in Pakistan. The Youth & Volunteer department of PRC Sindh has formed youth clubs in different schools, colleges and universities in order to train the young people for effective response during emergencies.
