The Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (PGJA) said that the price of one tola of gold dropped to Rs432,463, while the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,200 to Rs370,744.
The decline in local gold prices followed a drop in international bullion rates, where gold fell by $14 per ounce to $4,100.
Market experts said domestic gold prices largely move in line with international market trends, with fluctuations driven by global demand, investor sentiment, Currency movements and geopolitical developments.
Jewellers said gold prices are expected to remain volatile in the coming days as international markets continue to react to changing economic and political conditions worldwide.
