All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association says price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs9,100 per tola, taking the new rate to Rs428,736 per tola
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-July 2nd, 2026) The gold prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp increase on Thursday, reversing the recent downward trend in the domestic bullion market.
The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association said that the price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs9,100 per tola, taking the new rate to Rs428,736 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs7,802, reaching Rs367,572.
GOLD PRICE IN PAKISTAN TODAY
The sharp rise in local gold prices followed a significant increase in international bullion rates. In the global market, gold gained $91 per ounce, with the international price climbing to $4,063 per ounce.
Gold prices in Pakistan generally fluctuate in line with trends in the international bullion market and movements in the rupee-dollar exchange rate. The latest increase comes after several consecutive sessions of declines in domestic gold prices.
