One of two foreign women confirms repeated physical, sexual violence before Lahore court

Astrid Gabriela Robinson tells court four armed men allegedly entered the house on the first night of their stay, tied up her and her friend from other country and kept them in a room

LAHORE: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-July 4th, 2026) Astrid Gabriela Robinson, a Spanish national, who is one of the two foreign complainants in the alleged abduction, rape and extortion case in Lahore on Saturday recorded a statement before a magistrate, alleging that she was subjected to repeated physical and sexual violence while being held captive.
The 40-year-old woman said she and another foreign national were confined after four armed men allegedly entered the house on the first night of their stay, tied them up and kept them in a room.

She claimed the other woman was later taken away by the suspects.

The case came to light after Defence C Police registered a first information report (FIR) against five suspects, including Muhammad Raza Dar, over allegations of kidnapping, extortion and the sexual assault of two foreign women. The suspects, including Dar, are currently on physical remand as the investigation continues.
In her statement, the complainant alleged that one of the suspects, dressed in black, repeatedly assaulted her, touched her inappropriately and punched her several times in the face.

She further claimed that the same suspect sexually assaulted her.

The woman told the magistrate that Raza Dar later entered the room and questioned her about a laptop and cash. She said she informed him that both were inside a green bag. According to her statement, the second complainant was then brought back, and both women were repeatedly questioned about the laptop and its password.
She further alleged that she was struck on the head with the butt of a pistol after questioning the suspects.

According to the statement, she was later taken to a bedroom on the second floor, where a man speaking fluent English allegedly threatened that they would be killed if they failed to hand over money.

The complainant also alleged that she was repeatedly pressured into sexual acts, despite refusing several times, and was later sexually assaulted by one of the suspects. She claimed the assault ended only after she screamed.
According to the FIR, the two foreign nationals had travelled to Lahore on June 29 after being invited to Pakistan by Muhammad Raza Dar, with whom they had previously entered into a business partnership in Singapore in October 2025.

Police are continuing their investigation into the case. The allegations made by the complainant are part of the ongoing legal proceedings and have not yet been proven in court. The accused are presumed innocent unless proven guilty through due process of law.
