LAHORE: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-June 24th, 2026) Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan has signed with Lancashire Lightning for the remainder of the 2026 Vitality Blast season.
The 27-year-old will join the squad immediately and is expected to be available for Lancashire's upcoming fixture against Leicestershire Foxes.
Shadab has been brought into the squad as a replacement for Australian all-rounder Chris Green, who has been ruled out for the rest of the campaign due to injury.
The Pakistan international is no stranger to English county cricket, having previously represented Sussex Sharks and Yorkshire. He has also built a strong reputation through his performances in franchise leagues around the world.
Shadab brings extensive experience to Lancashire's T20 setup. In 124 T20 Internationals for Pakistan, he has scored 1,009 runs at a strike rate of 144 while also claiming 123 wickets, underlining his value as a genuine all-rounder.
Expressing his excitement after signing the deal, Shadab said he has always enjoyed playing cricket in England and described joining Lancashire, one of the country's most historic clubs, as a special opportunity.
