Shadab Khan has been retained in Platinum category for Rs7 crore (Rs 70 million)
LAHORE: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Feb 4th, 2026) Islamabad United on Wednesday announced the amounts for the players it has retained ahead of the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Shadab Khan has been retained in the Platinum category for Rs 7 crore (Rs70 million). Salman Irshad will continue in the Gold category for Rs 1.4 crore (Rs 14 million), while Andres Goss has been retained in the Silver category for Rs 1.2 crore (Rs 12 million).
For the player auction, Islamabad United had a total budget of PKR 45 crore (PKR 450 million), of which the franchise has spent Rs 9.6 crore (Rs 96 million) on retained players. The Pakistan cricket board (PCB) requires franchises to inform it of the amounts paid for retained players. Additionally, an extra Rs 5.5 crore (Rs 55 million) has been set aside for direct signings.

Karachi Kings: Hasan Ali (platinum), Mohammad Abbas Afridi (Diamond), Khushdil Shah (Gold) and Saad Baig (Emerging)
Multan Sultans: Zero retentions
