The Indian media reported that Chahal had earlier been in the headlines following his divorce from choreographer and reality show star Dhanashree Verma. In recent months, he was seen attending cricket matches and public events with RJ Mahvash, which fuelled rumours of a close relationship. Both, however, have repeatedly denied dating and stated they are just good friends.
Media sources confirmed that the two have removed each other from their Instagram follower lists, indicating a possible end to their personal ties.
Chahal’s personal life has frequently made news, particularly after he appeared in a programme with his former wife, Dhanashree Verma. Additionally, reports suggest that Chahal may appear in the upcoming Indian reality show The 50, set to air from February 1. Some reports indicate the show could feature a reunion with his ex-wife, drawing further public attention.
Earlier, in August 2025, Chahal had spoken on Raj Shamani’s podcast about the negative impact of online gossip, saying that public speculation and derogatory comments about his personal life had been deeply hurtful.
