KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Dec 26th, 2025) board of Intermediate education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of the Intermediate Part-I annual examinations 2025 for the Science General Group.
The results were announced by Chairman BIEK Fakhr Muhammad Lakho during a ceremony held at the Inter Board’s committee room. Special Secretary, Universities and Boards Department, Government of Sindh, Sohail Anwar Baloch, was also present on the occasion.
Controller of Examinations Zareena Rashid, while sharing the result details, said that a total of 19,212 candidates were registered for the Science General Group examinations, out of which 18,813 candidates appeared.
According to the results, 9,678 candidates passed all six papers, 3,542 candidates passed five papers, 2,353 candidates passed four papers, 1,405 candidates cleared three papers, 860 candidates passed two papers, while 580 candidates succeeded in one paper.
Chairman Fakhr Muhammad Lakho stated that, for the first time in the history of Inter Board Karachi, the Mathematics paper of the Science General Group was assessed through e-marking. He said the paper was evaluated using a modern rubrics-based e-marking system, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and quality in the assessment process.
He further said that Inter Board Karachi is continuously taking steps to modernize its examination system. In this regard, more Intermediate examination papers will be assessed through e-marking in the 2026 annual examinations, he added.
