Pakistan will host the World Chefs Asia Presidents Forum 2026 in Islamabad and Lahore.
ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Oct,20, 2025) Pakistan has won the hosting rights for the World Chefs Asia Presidents Forum 2026, marking the first time the country will host an international chefs’ forum.
According to Geo news, the announcement was made during the World Chefs Forum 2025 held in Suzhou, China, where Pakistan secured the hosting bid by receiving 13 out of 21 votes, defeating Malaysia.
The event will take place in October 2026 with ceremonies and sessions planned in Islamabad and Lahore.
Pakistan was represented by Ahmad Shafiq, the founding president of the Chefs’ Association of Pakistan, who termed the victory a major achievement for the country. He said the forum will bring together presidents of chefs’ associations and culinary experts from 21 Asian countries, creating opportunities for Pakistani chefs to gain international exposure and employment.
The member countries of the World Chefs Asia Presidents Forum include China, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Maldives, the Philippines, and Nepal, among others.
