The price of 10 grams gold drops by Rs9,088 and reaches Rs382, 630 in local markets of Pakistan
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Oct 18th, 2025) Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a major decline on Saturday, with per tola gold falling by Rs 10,600 to Rs446,300 and 10 grams dropping by Rs9,088 to Rs382,630, following a correction in global markets.
The international bullion market recorded a sharp drop of $106 per ounce, bringing the price down to $4,252. This came after a recent spike, when gold prices had surged to record highs both globally and locally.
Just a day earlier, per ounce gold rose by $141 internationally, while in Pakistan the per tola rate jumped by Rs 14,100 to reach Rs 456,900, reflecting strong global demand.
The experts say the latest dip reflects market correction after sudden price surges, as international trends continue to influence domestic gold rates.
