In the global market, gold gained $19 to hit $2,217 per ounce.
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Oct,16, 2025) The upward trend in gold prices continued on Wednesday, with the precious metal gaining Rs1,900 per tola in the local market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold rose to Rs442,800 per tola, while the rate for 10 grams increased by Rs1,629, reaching Rs379,629.
In the international market, gold also registered an uptick of $19, trading at $2,217 per ounce.
Jewellers attribute the consistent rise in domestic prices to global market trends and the depreciation of the Pakistani rupee, which continues to push local gold rates higher.
