The sources familiar with the development said that the Sixers have pre-signed Babar Azam by offering him a deal worth approximately PKR 100 million — significantly higher than the platinum category’s base price of around PKR 75 million.
The star cricketer has been picked in the platinum category, confirming his top-tier status in franchise cricket. This marks Babar’s first-ever appearance in Australia’s BBL, with the 14th edition of the tournament set to begin on December 14.
