Counter-Terrorism Department has asked the court to allow 14-day judicial remand of the Al-Qaeda leader
GUJRANWALA: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-July 22nd, 2024) An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday allowed 14-day judicial remand of Aminul Haq, the close aide of Al-Qaeda top leader Osama Bin Laden.
Sessions Judge Javed Iqbal Warraich passed the order after the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) officials produced Aminul Haq before the court.
During the hearing, the CTD officials asked the court to send Aminul Haq to jail on judicial remand.
Aminul Haq was arrested in Gujrat. He is an Afghan citizen and is associated with Al-Qaeda. His name is included in the United Nations' global list of terrorists.
