PDMA predicts widespread rainfall across Punjab districts, with chances of heavy showers in northern and southern regions that may raise water flow in streams and nullahs.

PMD says rain with gusty winds and thunderstorms is expected today in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, the Potohar region, northeastern Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.  

A PDMA spokesperson says widespread heavy rainfall is anticipated in several districts including Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Lahore, Gujrat and Sialkot

Multan is at risk as all major rivers including Chenab, Ravi and Sutlej have high floods
