MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th May, 2019) Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro might visit Russia to participate in the upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza said Monday.
SPIEF-2019 is scheduled to run from June 6-8.
"Of course, Venezuela will take part in the economic forum in St. Petersburg. We do not yet know the exact composition of the delegation. We hope that the president [Maduro] will be able to visit the forum, he would like to go to St. Petersburg and meet with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin," Arreaza told a press conference in Moscow.
