According to details, a Chandigarh woman named Tina escaped from her husband’s torture in India and came to Pakistan.
After coming to Pakistan, Tina embraced islam and married Gujranwala’s Suleman.
Media reports said that the woman was being tortured by ex-husband Amesh for years.
On the other hand, the Indian External Affairs Ministry has written an application to Pakistan Foreign Office for Tina’s return.
The Indian External Affairs Ministry has alleged that Pakistani man Suleman has forcibly held the woman hostage at his house and demanded that the Pakistani authorities should take steps for her repatriation to India.
However, the Pakistan Foreign Office has denied India’s request.
