Islamabad (Pakistan Point News / Online - 10th April, 2019) Eminent Pakistani actress Sanam Saeed who experienced immense fame as Kashaf in the hit drama serial 'Zindagi Gulzar Hai' that took even the neighbouring India by storm, recently found out that Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt referred to her celebrated character to prepare for her upcoming film 'Kalank'.Overwhelmed by emotions, an ecstatic Sanam revealed her sentiments on this incredible news.
Taking to Twitter, the 'Cake' starlet tagging Alia in her post wished good luck to the actress for her film:Alia, who will be seen essaying the role of Roop in upcoming period film 'Kalank', sought inspiration from Sanam Saeed's Kashaf Murtaza, DNA India reported Tuesday."I watched a lot of old films like 'Mughal-E-Azam' and 'Umrao Jaan' to get an understanding of grace and body language. (And) I had to clean my Hindi as I am speaking urdu (in the film).
Abhishek asked me to watch 'Zindagi Gulzar Hai'. The character of the girl (Kashaf played by Sanam Saeed) in the show is very much how Roop will deal with the situation. She has responsibility on her shoulders so she is not always a happy person. She is vulnerable yet strong. It is difficult (to bring so many) layers - unhappy, vulnerable and strong to a character. Abhishek kept saying that I should be irritating," Alia told PTI in an interview.2012 hit drama serial �Zindagi Gulzar Hai' aired in various countries and received praise across the border. Recently, Netflix launched Pakistani dramas and added �Zindagi Gulzar Hai' to the list. Currently, the show holds 4 star rating.Meanwhile, the multi-starrer �Kalank', starring Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapoor, is all set to be release on 17th April.
