Syed Qaim Ali Shah expresses anger over NAB's discriminatory approach towards PPP

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News / Online - 08th April, 2019) PPP central leader and former Sindh chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Monday expressed anger over the National Accountability Bureau (NAB)'s discriminatory approach towards the Sindh government and PPP leaders.Talking to media persons in Islamabad on Monday, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said in his 55 years political career NAB never charged him with the allegations as it charged in the fake accounts case.

The former chief minister further said the NAB accuses him of selling two sugar mills and the sugar mills allegations are some 15 years old. The PPP leader said the PPP government has established a 300 megawatt power plant and a same capacity power plant is on the card and will soon be inaugurated.He added the Sindh government constructed roads and highways in the under developed areas of Sindh besides constructing hospitals, universities and health care units at district level.

Shah said former prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, in his one hour meeting with than Indian prime minister Indira Gandhi, was succeeded to release over 90,000 soldiers and precious land of thar, generating revenue for the country today.Briefing regarding development work in Sindh, he said the PPP government established 11 universities, including four medical universities, in Sindh and basic health units at district level across the province.The NAB management mostly remained active in the Sindh province and PPP political leaders and officers were its main target. Regarding his involvement in fake accounts case, he said he will defend the allegations labeled against him.
