At least 10 cases were registered against Abid Boxer in five different police stations of the city
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 25th March, 2019) Former police inspector Abid Hussain alias Abid Boxer has been given a clean chit in all the cases.
According to media reports, a session court in Lahore approved Abid Boxer’s interim bail in ten different cases, including a murder case as well.
At least 10 cases were registered against Abid Boxer in five different police stations of the city, including Milat Park, Nasirabad and Qila Gujjar Singh police station.
Former police inspector Abid Boxer was arrested in February, 2018 in Dubai. Abid Boxer was considered to be the master mind of fake police encounters in Punjab. Abid Boxer was involved in Gawalmandi, Ferozwala and many other cases while he also belonged to the criminal world.
He had been on the run for several years but was then shifted from Dubai to Pakistan.
Abid had earlier appeared before the courts along with his counsel who submitted that baseless cases were registered against his client in different police stations. He contended that all the cases were registered with malafide intentions and aimed to victimise his client. The counsel assured that his client would join the investigations while pleading for interim bail.
