Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) had faced financial deficit of Rs 580 million soon after former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif come into power

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News / Online - 14th March, 2019) Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) had faced financial deficit of Rs 580 million soon after former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif come into power. It was revealed in the auditor general of Pakistan report.It mentioned in report that financial corruption of Rs 580 million had allegedly done in Multan, Hyderabad, Chitral and Malakand Shipping. On that time Kamran Michel held the top position of Minister of Ports and Shipping and currently he was in jail facing NAB investigation.

It stated in report that performance of Shipping Corporation had suddenly decreased and company faced heavy financial damages owing to massive financial corruption. It further stated in report that four shipping companies faced heavy financial damages.Chitral shipping faced financial damages of Rs 90.94 in 2014 and Malakand shipping company faced damages of Rs 330 million. Likewise Multan Shipping company had faced financial damages of Rs 60.29 million and Hyderabad faced damage of Rs 90 million.The related report was already presented in Public Accounts Committee PAC, where Chairman PAC was reviewing this report.The inner sources stated that PAC Chairman Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif would investigate this mega corruption. On the other hand Ministry of Ports and Shipping wasn't willing to explain this matter.
