HOUSTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 12th March, 2019) Saudi Aramco, the Gulf nation's state oil firm, may take part in the 2019 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in June, Saudi Aramco's Chief Technology Officer Ahmad Khowaiter told Sputnik in an interview on Tuesday."Last year H. E. [Energy Minister Khalid] Al-Falih attended SPIEF. We may be attending this year as well," Khowaiter said when asked if Saudi Aramco planned to attend SPIEF in June.
SPIEF, held annually in Russia's second largest city of St. Petersburg, is a major global platform for communication between business representatives and the discussion of crucial economic issues. This year, the event will be held on June 6-8.
