MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th February, 2019) A group of officers from Sri Lanka will travel to Moscow in the coming days to undertake artillery and missile training, Sri Lankan Ambassador to Russia Dayan Jayatilleka told Sputnik on Thursday.
"Just in a few days, we are planning to send a group of young officers to Russia for training in artillery and missile sciences," Jayatilleka said.
A delegation of the Russian military will also visit Sri Lanka in the near future, according to the ambassador.
He stressed that Sri Lanka was very interested in the experience of the Russian military and was ready to adopt it.
