Former Trump campaign advisor Roger Stone said on Friday that the charges filed against him in the Russia investigation are politically motivated and he will plead not guilty
WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th January, 2019) Former Trump campaign advisor Roger Stone said on Friday that the charges filed against him in the Russia investigation are politically motivated and he will plead not guilty."I will plead not guilty to these charges," Stone told reporters. "I will defeat them in court. I believe this is a politically motivated investigation."
Stone explained that today's charges by Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Office are not related to Russian collusion, WikiLeaks or any other illegal activity in connection to the 2016 presidential campaign.
He added that he will have a court arraignment in Washington, DC next week.
