Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 18th December, 2018) Giving in to the immense pressure and stress that comes with becoming a doctor, a medical student has attempted suicide recently.

Jamal Mohammad, was a foreign medical graduate, and gave up his life Saturday evening due to stress.

In his last post on Facebook, Jamal Mohammad wrote, “Thanks for the memories.”

Later, in a post shared Rashid Mehmood, he pointed out to the incident.

“Another life taken by tough exams and failures. A foreign medical graduate Jamal committed suicide yesterday evening due to stress,” the post began.

“Who is Responsible? Parents who want their children to become doctor at ANY COST or PMDC who apparently has a very tiring, nerve shredding exam pattern for FMGs?” he questioned.

“First they spend the best part of their lives struggling in a foreign country away from families, then a never ending series of exams to prove themselves to be a doctor and even after passing it, our system hardly owns them,” the heartfelt post read.
