Media reports said that Jam Mashooq Ali was under treatment in a hospital in America.
Leaders from various political parties are extending condolences upon the death of the PML-N leader.
Mashooq was the son of former Sindh chief minister Jam Sadiq and belonged to Sanghar district of Sindh
He had served as the adviser to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in the last tenure.
