Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 8th September, 2018) Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi called on Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Islamabad on Saturday.
Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived here on a three-day official visit from September 7-9, 2018. The State Councilor is accompanied by a high-level delegation including three ministers.
They held delegation level talks with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi where CPEC, economic cooperation, culture and regional situation came under discussion.
The Chinese delegation would also call on the President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaisar, and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
This is the first official visit by a Chinese dignitary since the new government was formed in Pakistan.
