MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd August, 2018) Preparations are underway for a meeting between Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov and US Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker, but no final agreement has been reached yet, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday.
On Tuesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the meeting between Surkov and Volker would take place in the near future.
"As far as I know, preparations are underway, but I have no information about the venue and dates yet. As far as I know, there is no final agreement yet. As regards the agenda, it is a regular exchange of views, because there is no particular progress so far, as you know. Unfortunately," Peskov told reporters.
