MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd August, 2018) Russia will be guided by its own interests when responding to new US sanctions, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday.
"Of course, the president in this case will make such decisions that will best correspond to the interests of our country. It it too early to talk about specifics but [the country's leadership] will certainly be guided primarily by Russia's interests," Peskov told reporters when asked if Russia planned to respond to the new US restrictions in kind.
