Russia's Rosoboronexport state arms exporter is holding consultations with the Philippines regarding the export of helicopters and small arms, and hopes to reach a certain agreement soon, the companys Director General Alexander Mikheev said Tuesday.
KUBINKA (Moscow Region) (Pakistan Point news / Sputnik - 21st August, 2018) Russia's Rosoboronexport state arms exporter is holding consultations with the Philippines regarding the export of helicopters and small arms, and hopes to reach a certain agreement soon, the companys Director General Alexander Mikheev said Tuesday.
"Given that we have been holding consultations with the Philippine side on various types of cooperation for several years, we expect that the Philippine Defense Ministry will be interested in our helicopters, small arms and automotive equipment. We are conducting consultations and hope that a certain result will come in the near future," Mikheev told reporters.
Rosoboronexport is the subsidiary of Rostec State Corporation and Russias only state-controlled intermediary for international trade of military and dual-purpose products, technology and services.
