According to the Geo tv broadcaster, the electoral body will announce the final ballot list on August 30.

Pakistan's president will be elected by the national and provincial assemblies the members of which were chosen in July's general vote. Incumbent President Mamnoon Hussain is eligible for the second term. His Pakistan Muslim League (N) party has 64 seats in the parliament out of 342. The majority is held by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, which has 116 mandates. PTI chairman Imran Khan is currently running for the post of prime minister, which will be elected by the National Assembly on Friday.
