An operation to evacuate "intransigent" groups of the Syrian opposition in the Daraa province has come to an end, Russian Foreign Ministrys spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Wednesday.
SVETLOGORSK (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 15th August, 2018) An operation to evacuate "intransigent" groups of the Syrian opposition in the Daraa province has come to an end, Russian Foreign Ministrys spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Wednesday.
"An operation to evacuate the so-called intransigent [opposition groups] and their families to Syria's north have been completed in the Daraa province," Zakharova told a briefing.
The spokeswoman noted that the situation on the ground in Syria had been "steadily improving."
