Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate MIAN KHALID MEHMOOD has won PP-140 with 32862 votes.
Sheikhupura (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate MIAN KHALID MEHMOOD has won PP-140 with 32862 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-140 Sheikhupura-VI constituency with 32862 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Majid Zahoor was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 37615 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Zubair Khan Niazi who got 28243 votes. At least 15 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-140. In 2013 elections, there were 133479 voters registered in PP-140, out of which 70630 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 52.91 %.
