Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate ARIF UR REHMAN ALVI has won NA-247 with 91020 votes.
Karachi South (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate ARIF UR REHMAN ALVI has won NA-247 with 91020 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-247 Karachi South-ll constituency with 91020 votes. In 2013 general elections, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Sufyan Yousuf was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 126263 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Rashid Siddiqui who got 35349 votes. At least 13 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-247. In 2013 elections, there were 303774 voters registered in NA-247, out of which 173969 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 57.24 %.
