Jhang (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Ameer Sultan has won NA-116 with 90649 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-116 Jhang-lll constituency with 90649 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate DANIYAL AZIZ was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 91409 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate MUHAMMAD TARIQ ANEES who got 40291 votes. At least 8 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-116. In 2013 elections, there were 271905 voters registered in NA-116, out of which 151574 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 55.74 %.
