Rawalpindi (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Ghulam Sarwar Khan has won NA-59 with 89055 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-59 Rawalpindi-lll constituency with 89055 votes. In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Muhammad Zain Ellahi was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 60284 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Asif Ali Malik who got 59819 votes.
At least 8 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-59. In 2013 elections, there were 309334 voters registered in NA-59, out of which 198841 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 64 %.
