Multan (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Hussain Qureshi has won NA-156 with 116272 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-156 Multan-lll constituency with 116272 votes. In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Mohammad Raza Hayat Hiraj was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 79675 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Syed Fakhar Imam who got 69397 votes. At least 13 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-156. In 2013 elections, there were 314492 voters registered in NA-156, out of which 190000 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 62.32 %.
