Imran Khan’s match not with Zimbabwe but with PMLN: Journalist

Hamid Mir says the PMLN has many Fakhar Zamans

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 21st July, 2018) Renowned journalist Hamid Mir has said that Imran Khan has to fight against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) in the general elections, not Zimbabwe’s cricket team.

Talking to a local tv channel, he said that the PMLN has many Fakhar Zamans, adding that Abid Boxer’s video is not going to give political benefit to Imran Khan. He said that the elections are being made controversial. Everybody already knew what Abid Boxer said.

Hamid Mir said that the PMLN or PTI do not seem to be getting a simple majority.

“If Imran Khan wants to become the prime minister, he would either have to take Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) or Awami National Party’s (ANP) support. These parties will however not go with Imran Khan.”

The journalist said that Imran Khan would have to take more than 80 seats.

“Even if the PTI gets 80 seats, he would need PPP’s support. If the PPP doesn’t agree then it would try to make a forward block in the PMLN,” he said.

He said that Imran Khan’s match is not with Zimbabwe’s cricket team, it has to fight the PMLN and PMLN has many people like Fakhar Zaman who scored a double century yesterday.
