Case registered against Sheikh Rasheed over fireworks display

A case was registered against Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed and eight other party workers over fireworks display.

Rawalpindi, (Pakistan Point News - 17th Jul, 2018) : A case was registered against Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed and eight other party workers over fireworks display. According to details, at least eight people including Sheikh Rasheed and his nephew Sheikh Rashid Shafique have been nominated in the case for violating the government ban on fireworks. Moreover, 15 unidentified men are also included in the First Information Report (FIR). The case was registered in the presence of City police station officer Muhammad Yaqoob under section 285 and 286. The FIR maintains that the suspects displayed fireworks in Union Council 40 of NA-60 and NA-62 in Talwara Bazaar.
