Pakistani teenager to conduct toss in FIFA match

This will be the first time a Pakistani will be on FIFA World Cup pitch in an official capacity

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 21st June, 2018) Pakistani teenager Ahmed Raza will conduct the toss in the match between Brazil and Costa Rica in their FIFA World Cup match tomorrow, June 22.

This will be the first time a Pakistani will be on the FIFA World Cup pitch in an official capacity.

Raza belongs to Sialkot. His family has been crafting hand-stitched footballs for professional leagues across three generations. Raza and his father, Shabbir Ahmed both love football and Raza’s presence in the FIFA World Cup fulfils a dream for both of them.

Two-time academy Award Winning film-maker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy will document Raza’s journey which will be released in July.

Earlier, Pakistani Singer Quratulain Balouch aka QB also collaborated with international artist Jason Derulo for Coca Cola World Cup Anthem called ‘Colors’.

The FIFA World Cup 2018 is currently underway in Russia. This time around, the colors of football can be seen in Pakistan as well as our Coke Studio sensation has come up with something very special for this football tournament as she collaborates with Jason Derulo for the anthem.
