Mosque named after Junaid Jamshed in Karachi

Junaid Jamshed died on December 7, 2016 in a PIA plane crash

Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 23rd May, 2018) A beautiful mosque named after legendary singer Junaid Jamshed has been inaugurated in Karachi.

The mosque has been built in Singer Chowrangi, Korangi at J. Unit 2 in Karachi.

The news was shared by actress Sanam Baloch on her Twitter account.

“Junaid Jamshed Masjid has been inaugurated today at Singer Chowrangi #Korangi at J. Unit 2, #Karachi. Such a beautiful mosque. The mosque has been named in loving memory of our beloved and dearest #JJ," Baloch said.

The actress also appealed to remember Junaid Jamshed in our prayers.

Junaid Jamshed Khan was a Pakistani singer, television personality, fashion designer, occasional actor, and preacher. He was the lead vocalist of famous Pakistani band ‘Vital Signs’, producer of the all time hit ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’, and was later known for hosting Ramzan transmissons.

This beautiful mosque has been named late Junaid Jamshed to honor his legacy.

Junaid Jamshed died on December 7, 2016 in a plane crash. He was on board the unfortunate PIA Flight-661 that crashed in Havelian while en route to Islamabad from Chitral.
