In one of her visits to the constituency, Maryam had promised to fund a girl’s treatment whose bladder is missing
Lahore (Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2018) During the NA-120 by-election campaign, daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz went to each house for votes, made pictures with them and promised to solve their problems. However, after a victory in the election, Maryam did not even look back and forgot the promises she made to the people. In one of her visits to the constituency, Maryam listened to a woman's problems whose daughter does not have a bladder since birth, making her face a lot of difficulties in routine life. Maryam had promised to fund her treatment but did not keep it. The woman lamented that Maryam had given her much hope, telling her that she will get the girl treated wherever it I possible, but neither did she meet me again nor my daughter was treated. The woman said that I want Maryam to come to my house and get my child treated so her kidneys are not damaged. My daughter Fatima wants to become a doctor so she can treat many other Fatimas like her. Fatima's mother is now waiting for Maryam to visit her place and fulfill the promise of girl's treatment.
