All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association said that the price of one tola of 24-karat gold decreased to Rs424,836 after the latest reduction
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-June 30th, 2026) Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant decline on Monday, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs4,100 per tola in line with a sharp drop in international bullion markets.
All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association said that the price of one tola of 24-karat gold decreased to Rs424,836 after the latest reduction. The decline follows weakness in global gold prices, which continued to ease amid changing market conditions.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs3,515, bringing it down to Rs364,228.
In the international bullion market, gold prices dropped by $41 per ounce, with the precious metal trading at $4,024 per ounce. The downward trend in global prices was reflected in the domestic market, resulting in lower rates for local buyers.
Gold prices in Pakistan are closely linked to movements in international bullion markets and are also influenced by fluctuations in the exchange rate of the Pakistani rupee against the US Dollar. Any increase or decrease in global prices is generally mirrored in the domestic market after adjustments by local traders.
The latest reduction offers some relief to consumers and jewellery buyers who have faced record-high gold prices in recent months. However, market analysts believe that future price movements will largely depend on global economic developments, central bank policies, investor demand for safe-haven assets, and Currency fluctuations.
