Flour prices rise further across Pakistan, Karachi tops the list

Flour prices have increased across Pakistan, with Karachi recording the highest rate as a 20kg flour bag reaches Rs2,800, according to official statistics.

ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-June-06,2026) Flour prices have risen further across Pakistan, with Karachi residents facing the highest costs for flour, according to the latest data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.

The official document shows that the maximum price of a 20-kilogram flour bag has reached Rs2,800 nationwide. Karachi recorded the highest rate, where a 20kg bag is being sold for up to Rs2,800.

According to the data, the price of a 20kg flour bag has climbed to Rs2,750 in Peshawar, Rs2,733 in Islamabad, Rs2,707 in Rawalpindi, and Rs2,700 in both Quetta and Bannu.

Meanwhile, flour is being sold for up to Rs2,600 in Hyderabad, Rs2,400 in Khuzdar and Larkana, Rs2,350 in Faisalabad, Rs2,333 in Gujranwala, and Rs2,267 in Multan.

In Lahore, a 20kg flour bag is currently being sold for Rs2,250, the report added.
