Bangladesh resumed their second innings on the final day at 152 for 3 and added crucial runs through a solid batting effort. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto played a key role with a composed 87, while Mominul Haque contributed 56 runs to strengthen the total.

Pakistan made early breakthroughs on day five. The fourth wicket fell at 164 when Mushfiqur Rahim was dismissed for 22 by Hasan Ali. Later, Litton Das was removed for 11 at 190 by Shaheen Shah Afridi.
