KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-April 24th, 2026) Islamabad United registered a commanding 8-wicket win over Hyderabad Kingsmen in the 36th match of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 at the National Stadium Karachi on Friday.
Hyderabad Kingsmen, after opting to bat first, were bundled out for just 80 runs in 16 overs. Usman Khan remained the top scorer with an unbeaten 25, while the rest of the batting line-up collapsed under sustained pressure from Islamabad’s bowlers.
For Islamabad United, Richard Gleeson, Shadab Khan, and Imad Wasim claimed three wickets each, while Salman Mirza took one wicket to restrict the opposition to a low total.
In reply, Islamabad United chased down the 81-run target comfortably in the seventh over, losing only two wickets. Mohsin Riaz played a key role with a quick 42-run knock, while Samer Minhas (27 not out) and captain Shadab Khan (4 not out) completed the chase. Devon Conway was dismissed for a duck.
For Hyderabad Kingsmen, Muhammad Ali took two wickets but lacked support from the remaining bowlers.
