RAWALPINDI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Feb 12nd, 2026) Former Army Chief General (Retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa was injured after a fall at his residence and is currently receiving treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed on Tuesday.

According to the official statement, General Bajwa sustained injuries due to the accident at his home. He has been admitted to CMH, where doctors are monitoring his condition and providing necessary medical care.

ISPR did not provide further details regarding the extent of his injuries but requested privacy for the retired general and his family during his recovery.

General Bajwa served as the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan from November 2016 to November 2022 and continues to be a respected figure in military and public circles.
