KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Feb-11, 2026) The Pakistan Super League (PSL) held its first-ever player auction on Wednesday, featuring over 800 local and international players. Each franchise will form a squad of 16 to 20 players for the upcoming season.
The Multan Sultans will now participate under a new name, Rawalpindi, with new ownership.

David Warner to Karachi Kings for PKR 7.9 crore
Riley Rossouw to Quetta Gladiators for PKR 5.55 crore
Nasim Shah to Rawalpindi for PKR 8.65 crore
Azam Khan to Karachi Kings for PKR 3.25 crore
Sahibzada Farhan to Sialkot Stallions for PKR 5.7 crore
Usama Mir to Lahore Qalandars for PKR 3.5 crore
Young spinners Mehram Mumtaz and Faisal Akram joined Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators for PKR 1.25 crore each
Several players, including all-rounders Imad Wasim, Mohammad Junaid, Mahdi Hasan Miraz, and England’s Chris Jordan, went unsold.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi attended the event, receiving a warm welcome from all franchise owners and gifting them special “Markhor” T-shirts to commemorate Pakistan’s preparations for the 2026 T20 World Cup.
