The franchise announced Conway’s direct signing through a message on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, extending a warm welcome to the player.
Conway, known for his explosive batting, is the fourth-fastest player to score 1,000 runs in T20 International cricket, a record that highlights his prowess in the shortest format of the game.
According to the reports, Conway has been signed for 63 million Pakistani rupees.
In a related development, Islamabad United retained three players instead of the usual four for this season. Shadab Khan was retained in the Platinum category for 70 million rupees, Salman Irshad was kept in the Gold category for 14 million rupees, and Andries Gous was retained in the Silver category for 12 million rupees.
