LAKKI MARWAT: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Feb 5th, 2026) The unknown assailants have targeted the main gas pipeline in the Bhanah Manjiwala area of Laki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, using explosive materials to destroy the TBs (Thermal Block Section), causing widespread panic.
Local sources reported that the explosion resulted in the complete destruction of the TBs and the gas transmission line, with gas continuing to leak uncontrollably. The flames from the blast were visible from a significant distance while the sound of the explosion and the ongoing gas leak sent shockwaves through the entire region.
As a result of the incident, gas supply to thousands of homes in the area has been disrupted. Local authorities have acted swiftly, with firefighting teams and gas company personnel arriving at the scene to extinguish the flames and secure the gas transmission line to prevent further damage.
